75k Citi AA Exec after $7500. Public Link
Doctor of Credit is at it again. He’s released a very public offer for the Citi AA Exec. The bonus is 75k points after $7500 in 3 months. If you’re unfamiliar with the card it’s Citi’s AA premium card. It’s been in the discussion for a lot of people as a card they may switch to after Citi Prestige loses its Admirals Club membership benefit on July 23rd. I would seriously consider getting the card if I hadn’t had one of Citi’s personal AA cards in the last 24 months. The timing of this is interesting tho…Barclay and Citi both have partnerships with American and Barclay announced at the beginning of the year that they would allow new cardmembers to their Aviator family of cards. The only card to have actually done so has been the Aviator Red ( which is offering a sweet 50k after first spend). Barclay has an Aviator Silver that, aside from Admirals Club benefits, offers relatively similar benefits to the Citi Exec. Makes me wonder if we won’t see an Aviator Silver signup roll out sooner than later that will compete with this offer. We can only hope 😉
It’s a pretty high min spend. And a $450 annual fee.
Wanna get it…Here’s what DOC says to do. Here’s a link to the App.
- Put 99999 as the referral code
- Enter an airport with an Admirals Club.
Here’s a quick look at the cards benefits.
- TSA Pre and Global Entry reimbursement
- Admirals Club
- 10k EQM after 40k in purchases
- read the rest below
Unfortunately it’s under Citi’s 24 month family rule.
Don’t know about the rule…read here. We have a MonkeyMiles Monday Memo on it.
I had this card back in 2014 when they offered a 100k bonus.
The only reason I signed up for it back then was the bonus and Admirals Club. The same goes now…if I could.
What could you do with 82,500 AA?
One thing that would be prettttty, pretttttty, pretttttty awesome. Fly Japan Airlines First Class to Tokyo for 80k. It’s pretty baller.
