I just booked a couple of First Class/Business tickets from LA to Delhi using 70k Alaska Miles and $40. The first leg will be on a 77W in first class, the 2nd on Japan Airlines’ new 787-9 with reverse herringbone 1-2-1 business class ( Sky Suite III ). I think it’s absolutely outstanding deal, especially considering it’s all bookable online. If I’m being honest, I’m using these tickets as backups to the routing I really want, which is via Bangkok on a combo of ANA first/Thai First, but the space hasn’t opened for two people, and we’re considering changing our routing to this as a hedge. I just booked them, and wanted to secure our seats. Here’s the process, which is pretty much the same across most airlines that partner with Alaska.

Step One: Log into your account – go to My Trips

Find Manage booking in the drop down menu.

Choose the 2nd option, enter your info. Just the first flight is needed to access the itinerary.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
