Let’s be honest. Sometimes you don’t want to read a whole review. So we’ve created a new series called POP: Pictures Only Post. Posts in this series will feature the product, minimal description, and focus on 5-10 Pics.  A more detailed review will come in the following week or two, but here’s a quick look at the Andaz 5th Avenue 1 Bedroom Balcony Suite.

Surprise trips are pretty, pretty, prettttttty, sweet. Surprising your Valentine with a trip across the country to stay in Manhattan in a Suite overlooking the New York public library and getting a free confirmed upgrade for lie-flat transcon biz on the way back…that’s a run-on sentence AND just ridiculous. Miles…ya did good, son.

Sexy…but not once did someone open the door for us to enter. #Fail

The “Hang Out” check-in

I’ll post more on this later, but in my opinion it’s the worst feature of the brand. Andaz are sexy, sleek, rich hotels and the first impression is a cluster cluck of a check-in. Not a fan.

Hardwood. Balcony. Floor to Ceiling windows. Great use of a Diamond Suite Upgrade.

Great Views…would be absolutely incredible in nicer weather. The Terrace suites below would be RIDICS.

Hope you like your bathrooms sexy and your showers doorless

Diamond breakfast is free via room service or the restaurant

Andaz 5th is not the same as use to be. It’s old and tired and very dirty
