Delta Sky Club Atlanta International Terminal
There are lounges that you go out of the way to visit, spend extra time enjoying, and then there are lounges you’re better off skipping. I had the chance to pop into the Delta SkyClub in Atlanta’s International terminal prior to flying Air France Business Class on the A350 and I’d say honestly it splits the difference.
As soon as you exit security, you’ll see the lounge on the second floor: you can see the entrance right above Duty Free America.

My Impression:
Is it perfectly adequate? Sure. Does the Wifi work? Sure. Are there snacks. Sure. Showers? Yes, although occupied when I visited ( Terminal E has them as well)
Truth be told, aside from using a visit as an opportunity to burn some SkyMiles on a fancy bottle of Dom Perignon at 1.5c redemption rate, there isn’t much reason to allocate any extra time than needed.
The Food
If you’re looking for a quick snack, a turkey sandwich, some sweets/cheese, you’ll find it here. I had some hummus and pita and it was perfectly adequate, but the sandwich was quite dry. We only had roughly an hour in the lounge, and had it been longer, I’d probably have just popped out to the nearby Starbucks and spent $7 or $8 to get a proper sandwich there.
Overall
If you just need a quick place to do some work, grab a drink, or throw Delta SkyMiles at a fancy bottle of champagne, it works perfectly. It was mid January and rainy so the outside seating area was closed – that could be a very cool spot to enjoy a drink and plane watch. Otherwise, I wouldn’t look to budget any extra time here for the pleasure of the experience. It’s a nice lounge, and the staff were very friendly, even offering champagne on a cart that they wheeled around the lounge, but there aren’t any extra bells and whistles.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
