Virtuoso Travel just started up a training and networking week in Vegas. If you’re unfamiliar with Virtuoso, it’s an incredible group of travel advisors that curate custom trips, maintain relationships with properties, executives, and offer incredible VIP benefits that add value to any trip you take. In fact, we maintain a relationship with two trusted advisors who you can contact here.
If you’re the type of traveler who has deep pockets, doesn’t settle for anything less than a jaw dropping, unique and extremely experiential trip, or if you’re like me and drool from afar, you’ll want to check out Chad Clark’s Top 25 Travel Experiences in the world.
Last year, Chad Clark started compiling a list of extraordinary experiences by requesting advisors submit their recommendations of actual experiences they had curated for their clients. From that list, he selects the best 25.
HE IS CERTIFYING AN ANNUAL LIST OF TRAVEL EXPERIENCES, SIMILAR TO WHAT THE MICHELIN GUIDE IS FOR RESTAURANTS” – THE IRISH TIMES, DECEMBER 2017″
The nomination process.
From Paragliding to your hotel, to having breakfast on Everest, the winner’s list is epic.
The only thing I wish we could see was the price charged for each of these experiences and services. One of the winner’s is Luggage Forward, a service that facilitates door to door luggage delivery so you can fly worry free. Baggage free travel isn’t cheap, a standard bag of 50lbs is roughly $250 shipped one way from LA to Paris.
A couple examples from the list:
· Six Senses Zighy Bay (Oman)
Paraglide to your Hotel Arrival
One of the most unique, spectacular and exhilarating ways to arrive at Six Senses Zighy Bay is by paragliding off a mountain into the resort. Glide over the crags over the Hajar mountains and land next to the azure waters of the Gulf of Oman with a mesmerizing view of the bay from above.
· Remote Lands (Nepal)
Breakfast in the Shadows of Mount Everest
The most memorable breakfast you may ever have begins with a helicopter ride from Kathmandu to nearly 19,000 feet for a quick visit to Everest Base Camp before descending to 14,000 feet for a champagne breakfast in Kongde in the shadow of Mt. Everest, all the while surrounded by the stunning scenery of the Himalayas.
