Global Entry is an incredible service that not only expedites your International arrival, but grants you a known traveler id that works for TSA Pre as well. It’s a VERY handy service that many credit cards actually reimburse cardholders for. My Global Entry is expiring next year, and I was doing a little investigation into when I could renew it. Here’s what I found.
I’d like to charge it to a card that will reimburse the $100 fee. Here’s a list that will
- Amex Plat – any version
- Chase Sapphire Reserve
- Citi Prestige
- Citi Executive ( Black one)
- Ritz Card from Chase
- New IHG Premier card from Chase
- Barclay Aviator Silver
This isn’t an extensive list – leave comments and I’ll add to it.
When can you renew your Global Entry Membership?
According to the FAQs on the official website, you can renew up to ONE YEAR PRIOR TO EXPIRATION, and up to 6 MONTHS AFTER. I’ll be renewing as soon as possible so that I can the process over with and my fee credited.
