Big Thanks to Running with Miles for brining our attention to this! It looks like Jet Blue is running an incredible fare sale to London with economy fares starting at just $349 and Mint at $1939. While they started the charge, it looks like other airlines have joined in as well – at least on the business class front. Gotta move fast since this deal won’t last, and only is valid on flights through 5/23. If you’re looking to take a quick weekend trip to London – this could be a great opportunity to fly cheap.

  • Book by 2/23/22
  • Travel between 3/10 and 5/23
  • Must book roundtrip and stay over a Saturday

I’d note that these fares are for JetBlue Basic which offers doesn’t include a checked bag, free cancellation, etc

If you go to Google Flights… you can play around with it, but r/t biz under $2000 is pretty great.

Booking with Amex or Chase

If you have an Amex Business Platinum you’d get a 35% rebate on premium tickets. Chase Sapphire Reserve also gives 1.5c per point when booking in Chase Travel.

Blue Basic is Basically Useless. Who travels overseas without a carry on?

    • Miles February 22, 2022

It’s pretty basic, but you’d still get a personal item that fits under the seat in front of you and if you did take a carry on to the gate you’d have to pay a checked bag fee. This could potentially be useful if you’re looking to trigger an Amex incidental airline fee credit via checked bag, etc.
