Alaska Air published redemption rates for Japan Airlines – I like it HALLOT!
Earlier this year Alaska Airlines announced that they were partnering with Japan Airlines. Needless to say I was STOKED that they were gaining an incredible new partner because it meant using Alaska miles on Japan Air First Class. The long, stressful wait is over annnnnnnndddddddd Alaska Air published redemption rates for Japan Airlines and I likey!
How to search?

- First Class to Asia/S.E. Asia at 70k/75k

Intra Asia rates:
Southeast Asia includes the following:
Compare that to American’s rates
Rates to Japan and Korea:
And then to the rest of Asia:
I’m in the midst of status matching my Executive Platinum status to MVP Gold 75. I’ll keep you guys updated as to how that goes, but my goal to to re-qualify in both EP and MVPGOLD 75 next year. I can’t wait to use some of those Mileage Plan miles to fly on Japan Airlines First Class. Total bucket list flight. And if you didn’t know…you can plan a free stopover when using Alaska miles!
