5000 points a night is just plain silly
If you’re unfamiliar with IHG PointBreaks it’s a promotion whereby IHG reduces the points needed to stay at select hotels to just 5000 points. That’s ridiculous. Most of the properties that are listed are Holiday Inns, Candlewood Suites, Staybridge Suites, etc. I found the list to be far more extensive than this past quarter’s PointBreaks list, and personally, I think Pointbreaks are great if you’re thinking about taking a road trip, or you’re traveling with the fam, and you don’t really need some super posh place to rest your head. Nice, clean, maybe with a pool, but at a great price.
Hotels go live for booking on July 31st, but the entire list is available for preview now.
If you don’t have 5000 point you can always buy points. IHG has deals ALL the time whereby you can pick up points for less than $0.006 a point. 5000 points = $30.
To see the Full List ( which is very extensive) go here.
There is One Intercontinental on the List in Indonesia: Bandung Sago Pakar.
I don’t think I’ll be making a special trip to this one, but if you were already visiting Indonesia, say Bali, and were interested in seeing Java, this could be of interest to you.
Remember, each member can book just two separate PointBreaks reservations. Interested?
