Uh-oh. Air France/KLM loyalty program, FlyingBlue, has implemented a middle of the night devaluation of 25% as spotted by Travel on Points. I believe it was last year, or maybe late 2023 when FlyingBlue committed to 50k business class one way flights between the US and Europe ( this was a reduction from 70k which had been an increase from 55k… are you dizzy yet? ) Personally, I don’t think 60k is a big deal, but it would be nice to have been given some notice.
- Econ is now 25k each way from US to Europe ( Up from 20k )
- Business is now 60k each way from US to Europe ( up from 50k )
Some of the other routes weren’t hit as hard ( for instance, you can redeem Flying Blue on partner Etihad from Europe to AUH for 50,500, up from 46,500 )
