Interesting little Amex Offer that could be attractive to those who would be booking specifically on Lufthansa, Brussels, Swiss, Austrian, or Discover. It’s noteworthy that these flights must be booked via Amex Travel which precludes anyone using points with those airlines and paying the taxes/fees to hit the spend…gotta be Amex Travel.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
