Not too long ago, Hyatt announced their acquisition of luxury booking platform Mr and Mrs Smith. All eyes were on IHG and exactly when their partnership would dissolve. We have news…it’s now. Effectively, if you already have a reservation with Mr and Mrs Smith and your IHG One Rewards, they will honor it, yield benefits, and give you points, but any new reservations will be outside of the program. Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
