LAPD’s SWAT ( Speical Weapons and Tactics) were deployed to the uber 5 star Peninsula Beverly Hills over a reported hostage threat. No one was ever in danger, as the alleged hostage situation was a “fake swatting” call that ultimately called over 100 LAPD personnel to the scene. If you’re unfamiliar with the Peninsula Beverly Hills, it’s superbly located at the junction of Wilshire and Santa Monica in Beverly Hills within a 5 minute walk to prime shopping, but also El Rodeo school which educates children K-8th. Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
