I was perusing my Amex Offers this morning and came across a great offer with Kimpton Hotels. Spend $300, get a statement credit for $60. For those of you who are unfamiliar, Kimpton was a boutique hotel chain that was absorbed by IHG late 2014 and has since been folded into IHG’s hotel portfolio and loyalty program. Kimpton properties are unique, tailored, luxurious and feel very different to the rest of IHG’s portfolio. Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
