Farts have real consequences.
If you haven’t heard, 4 people were kicked off a Transavia flight after one man ripped so much ass, that it caused a fight to break out, and forced the flight to make an emergency landing in Vienna. Personally, that would be a badge of honor, but I digress. The story goes like this: A plane full of people boarded what they thought would be an unassuming flight from Dubai to Amsterdam. Once airborne a man started providing his own jet proplusion…which happens. But these weren’t just any plane vapors, this guy was putting on an odarama for the ages, and the two guys next to him politely let him know that it offended them. The man kept attempting to break the sound barrier and…
It escalated. Backups were called.
Next, the pilot came out and told the man put his egg pump on idle until they landed. He didn’t and kept the 1 man salute machine firing, much to the chagrin of these two men.
A fight broke out
Yes, these two guys took the cheek flapper to task. The plane landed because of the fight.
Police boarded the plane with dogs.
Somehow two other passengers were implicated in this whole mess and were detained upon exiting the aircraft. They’ve since been released, and are suing the budget airline.
Transavia have banned all the passengers and released the following statement:
“Our crew must ensure a safe flight. When passengers pose risks, they immediately intervene. Our people are trained for that…They know very well where the boundaries are. Transavia is therefore square behind the cabin crew and the pilots.”
Moral of the story….Be careful if you volunteer a little tail wind
