If you weren’t aware, Emirates operates a fifth freedom route from Newark to Athens using an older 777. It features a 2 row, 8 seat, first class, and is one of the very best ways to fly from the US to Europe. Especially when you can book it for more than one person during peak season. I’m highlighting this award space since it’s to Greece during the 2024 summer when A LOT of people would love to travel to Greece. There are many dates with 4 people so families could even partake in this one!
- Per Person R/T = 174k Emirates + $252
- One way = 87k + $126
These are all roundtrips being show, so you you should be able to book one way no problem.
2 people Early July/Mid July – 348k Miles + 463EUR
2 people Mid July/Early August – 348k Miles + 463EUR
4 people late July/Early August – 696k total + 926EUR

What’s Emirates First Class on the olde 777 like?
I’ve flown this a few times, most recently In July of 2023, but it’s basically the same as the A380 but without a shower, a smaller 8 person cabin, with older tvs and IFE controls. You’ll get the Dom, the caviar, the mini bar, the pajamas, the amenity kit, and of course doors that close and all the gold your heart desires 🙂
