POP Post: Qatar Airways Business Class 777-300ER HAN-BKK

Let’s be honest. Sometimes you don’t want to read a whole review. So we’ve created a new series called POP post: Pictures Only Post. Posts in this series will feature the product, minimal description, and focus on 5-10 Pics.  A more detailed review will come in the following week or two, but here’s a quick look at the Qatar Airways Business Class 777-300ER HAN-BKK.

This was the first leg back from an incredible trip through Vietnam and Cambodia. It was actually the cornerstone of our routing back to the states; without it, I couldn’t find a way to route through Tokyo and try out Japan Airlines First Class for just 60,750 AAadvantage ( making use of pre-deval rates). Utilizing AA’s routing rules, and Maximum permitted mileage I was able to route us from Hanoi to Bangkok to Tokyo to Chicago to Indianapolis all in premium cabins. Qatar’s biz was an outstanding flight and one that I could have continued on for hours longer. Here’s a quick look.

Even on a 2 hour flight you may need to say good night…

I’ve read a lot of reviews that beat up on Qatar’s 777 product. Admittedly, I only flew it for a couple hours, but I was pretty impressed with the service, size of the seat, and overall vibe.
