Review: American Airlines Admirals Club Denver
I made a VERY quick trip to Colorado to attend a little get together for BoardingArea bloggers in Colorado Springs. It was a fantastic time with great tidbits from Tiffany Funk at OMAAT, kicking it with No Mas Coach and learning some Alaska MVP 75 secrets, and chillin with DW at AccountingYourPoints, Tyler ResortTraveler, and Anshul PointsMilesandBling. Tyler, Anshul, and I visited the postage stamp Admirals Club Denver and cracked open the ole MacBook blog machines. We also indulged in some brownies and cookies. Tyler and I ended up on the same flight back to LA, and the funny thing was Miles got his own seat in First Class and so did Tyler…but his was in the bathroom – which was pretty inappropriate cause he was sitting back in co, co, coooooooo – sorry it’s just hard for me to get the words out….coach. Anyways, this is about the Admirals Club Denver.
The Deets:
- When: June 2017
- Where: Denver ( DEN )
- Entry: Citi Prestige Card + two free guests
If you’re mailing a letter you may be able to actually use the lounge as postage.
It’s pretty small. These three pics + the bar area = whole lounge.
The Bar. This is where the work got done. ( including the feature pic.)
There is a very small business center too.
The best part was after the lounge. I cleared for an upgrade and Miles nabbed his own seat. Tyler was uber Jealous.
Overall:
If you’re looking for a handful of brownie bites, a calm place away from the terminal, a fun bartender named Abel, and maybe a spoonful of hummus – you’ve found the right spot. Or if you need to print something. It was standard Admirals Club fare, but was fun cause my buddies were along and the bartender had my last name. And I was really digging the brownies. My advice would be not to blink entering the lounge as you may run into the end wall before your eyes open back up 😉 JOKES!
