See your credit card approval date in your Alaska Air account
It may seem crazy, but I’ve never had an Alaska Air credit card, personal nor business. It used to be a card that you could churn and churn and churn. Recently I read an article by Harlan over at Out and Out regarding the new approval policies. I knew that they had been restricting multiple cards at the same time, but he explained their new 90 day policy well. I’m not applying for personal cards at the moment because I’m waiting to get as close to 5/24 as possible before March 12th when Chase will pull the in-branch 100k Reserve offer. Since I matched to MVP Gold 75, I thought it’d be a good time to pick up an Alaska Air Business Card from Bank of America. What I was surprised to learn was you can see your credit card approval date in your Alaska Air account.
I’d applied and gotten a pending status. After a phone with a rep she let me know that she was recommending approval, but I needed to email my articles of incorporation. I did so, and then never heard back. A couple days later I jetted off to Southeast Asia and figured I’d just work it out when I got back.
Let’s be honest…not worrying about my Alaska Air business card approval
When I got home I checked my account for the 10k bonus points. I found this as well!
