Amex Offers Hyatt

Throughout the year we see plenty of hotel related Amex Offers, but it’s not often you will deals targeting Hyatt. We’ve see Marriott, Hilton, Omni, Peninsula, Four Seasons, etc with cyclical regularity but again, a Hyatt offer doesn’t happen as frequently. In the past year we’ve seen offers start to pop up with Hyatt Centric, Independent collection, Thompson, Park Hyatt, and now we see a Grand Hyatt targeted offer that is very attractive. Let’s take a look!

Unfamiliar with Amex Offers?

Read all about Amex Offers here

Here are the 10 American Express Cards that I keep and links to their current offers and why we have them in our wallet and recommend your consideration. I spend a lot on Amex annual fees and utilizing Amex Offers erasing a lot of those annual fees with bonus points and statement credits. Note, your Amex doesn’t have to have an annual fee to get targeted for offers though!

Main Cast:

Cards that earn flexible points and should be used on the bulk of your purchases.

Supporting Cast:

Cards that earn fixed points in the currency of the airline/hotel and can not be transferred at attractive rates. These cards yield benefits that make it worth keeping, but not necessarily worth putting a lot of your everyday spend on.

The Chase Sapphire Preferred® is exceptional starter card and offers transferrable Ultimate Rewards, and pairs well with other Chase cards.

If you carry this card alongside Chase’s cashback cards like the Chase Freedom Flex℠and Chase Freedom Unlimited® or the business versions: Ink Business Cash® , Ink Business Unlimited® you can combine the points into Preferred account and transfer into hotel and airline partners

Annual fee is quite low at $95 a year + you get a 10% anniversary bonus on points + $50 hotel credit in Chase travel.

So can this be across multiple stays to get to $75 back?

  • Kirsty July 5, 2021

Does it normally take a couple days for Amex offers to start showing for a new card? I just got my first Amex and there aren’t any offers available yet so I don’t know if I’ve set it up wrong or if there’s just a delay between activating it and the offers being available.

Well, blast. None of my cards were targeted, and I’m in the middle of mattress running Hyatt for Globalist.

    Sigh, maybe later this week….
