OMG!!!!

We are Peninsula Obsessed, and have a little bucket list item that consists of staying at every Peninsula hotel in the world. There aren’t many, 10, mostly in Asia, and I’ve stayed at 3 of them so far ( New York, Beijing, and Bangkok). This promotion lasts until November 30th ( my birthday is in September – you can see where I’m going here… ) Let’s take a look at this Amex Offer which I’m almost guaranteed to make use of – I’m looking at you Chicago. Maybe Tokyo? Is that crazy?

Take a look at our reviews of the Peninsula Beijing and Bangkok. The one in Beijing is unbelievably nice and crazy affordable

Unsure what Amex Offers are all about? We have an entire post dedicated to them. Read it here.

I find throughout the year the savings that can be had by adding Amex Offers to your targeted cards can outweigh your annual fee without taking any other benefits into consideration. Maybe not the entirety of the $1200+ that I pay in Amex Annual fees from my 5 cards, but every bit helps.

Here are the 5 American Express Cards that I keep and links to their current offers and why we have them in our wallet and recommend your consideration.

If you’re unfamiliar with Peninsula they are a very small, uber lux brand with just 10 properties in the world. Here’s a list and when they opened ( thanks Wikipedia ).

The hotels which are a part of this offer?

  • Peninsula New York
  • Peninsula Chicago
  • Peninsula Beverly Hills
  • Peninsula Tokyo
  • Peninsula Paris

The offer comes in two forms: $100 or 10k Membership Rewards

Personally, I’d take the 10k Membership Rewards, as I utilize them to transfer into partners and get a value way higher than $100. That’s just me…

Terms and Conditions

  • Room rate and room charges only
  • Ends 11/30/19
  • Spend $500+ get $100 or 10k depending on what your card is targeted to receive
  • Beverly Hills, New York, Chicago, Paris, Tokyo
