Usually I’m not a big food delivery guy, but these are different times. I typically use my Amex Gold dining credit at Cheesecake factory or Shake Shack, but since I live in Los Angeles and we are Social Distancing/ under a mandatory stay at home order, it’s a great time to use the credit on GrubHub. If you haven’t used GrubHub it’s super easy, download the app, select one of the qualifying restaurants, order your food and get a $10 statement credit.

The other thing you could do, if you’re looking to be charitable, is order food and have it delivered to your local shelter, fire department, hospital, etc. Just a thought.

Anyways…there’s a few days left in March to use your $10 credit before we get another one in April. Also…make sure you’re enrolled which you can do under “benefits” after logging in.

Grubhub is also running a Covid 19 promo whereby you can donate your change to help restaurants and small businesses during this time.

I don’t want to freak people out and contribute more to the hysteria that is our world these days but… A person close to me does doordash as a side gig. He hasn’t been around crowds, works his day job outside by himself but does doordash at least 20 hours a week and we aren’t in a major outbreak area. Well, he recently came down this Covid-19. I assume he caught it picking up the food at restaurants that are all carry-out only in this area. Now he has recovered after a couple of days (as most people will I might add) but all I’m saying is food delivery isn’t 100% safe from germs. So if you are a person that has major health concerns I wouldn’t suggest food takeout or delivery.
