Awayz by Odynn has extended their Black Friday promo to try their Hotel Award search platform for $20 off when you sign up for an premium annual membership. You may be aware of this from a TikTok I did back in April where I was impressed by the user experience and ability that Awayz has to search not only in calendar mode, but also via map.
It has expanded its search to support Accor, Choice, Hilton, Hyatt, IHG, Marriott, and Wyndham. If you have the Bilt App you can actually play around with it free of charge to see what you think, but if you’re looking for hard to find avail – it’s a very easy and solid tool.
One thing I’ll note…there are some instances where pricing isn’t 100% accurate…it’s not often, but just to be aware, regardless it’s powerful and quite helpful to search large swaths of dates. You can go here if interested – use code MONKEYMILES2023 for $20 off your first year.
Details:
- Get $20 off a premium plan
- Usually $99.99

Plans for adding flights
I spoke to the team at Awayz and they are planning on folding in a flight award search alongside hotels in the not so distant future. This pricing would include the flight searches whenever that happens.
Performing a search:
You just put in your destination or specific hotel, and then filter in things like bank points, program, free nights, etc. It’s very easy to use and intuitive. Here is what it looks like for Park Hyatt Kyoto:
Calendar Mode
If you hit that little green button it will display calendar mode. This is very helpful with Hyatt since Hyatt displays a calendar of pricing, but doesn’t populate availability. Clearly January is a good time to go since the Park Hyatt Kyoto is off peak for most of the month and available.
Setting Alerts
If you see a hotel that is unavailable, alerts are possible as you can see here with the Park Hyatt Paris. I’ll get an email alert should the award space open up.
Adding your wallet increases search options
You can load the cards you have in your wallet. You don’t need to add in card numbers, just the fact that you keep a certain card in your wallet. This allows certain perks that are a part of those cards to be included, for instance, when I add in my IHG Premier, it will adjust the price to reflect the 4th night free benefit. It also aims to include transfer bonuses and reflect those in pricing.
Free Night Certificates
It will allow you to search for dates where your free night certificates can be used. I’ve found this to be fairly consistent; however, there are some instances when it populates results where availability isn’t there. But still generally very useful.
How accurate is the pricing and availability?
Awayz says their cash pricing is 93% accurate and I’d say that is probably true of their award avail/rates too. There are instances where I’ve found award rates to be off, or availability to be inaccurate. These are few and far between, but just a head’s up that they are aware of it, and working to iron out the wrinkles as they develop and grow.
What are the Awayz by Odynn Pricing Tiers?
You can search 5 times free of charge, and even buy a 72 hour pass for $4.99, but if you want to consistently search, up to 150x per month…you’ll need to go premium. That’s where this sale really is helpful as it knocks it down from $99.99 to $49.99
- Free (5 monthly searches): Great for those who are new to the award space, and need guidance on how to redeem their points for the best value.
- Trip Pass (50 searches for 72 hours/ $4.99 per pass): Perfect for those who have trips in mind, and don’t want to commit to a Premium subscription just yet.
- Premium (150 monthly searches/ $11.99 monthly or $99.99 annually): For points and miles enthusiasts who are tired of juggling multiple websites to plan their stays.
Overall
Awayz is a very helpful tool for comparing points rates across multiple programs, with the promise of more to come, against cash rates. It’s also nice to see things geographically which competitors Staywithpoints and maxmypoint don’t provide. Give it a go for 72 hours free of charge with code monkeymiles and let me know what you think!
