Earlier In 2022 Capital one introduced Capital One Dining & Capital One Entertainment which added more ways to redeem your Capital One miles + vip access, presale events, etc. Nested in the release was a promise of even more redemption options via experiences ( watch your redemption value tho, not all of them are great). We now have a lot more information on those experiences and examples that include amazing culinary experiences, behind the scenes of art exhibitions, and once-in-a-lifetime sports moments:
- Exclusive dinners and culinary experiences curated by partners like Chef José Andrés, The MICHELIN Guide, Gather Charleston, New York City Wine & Food Festival and Vinous
- Unique access to fine arts events through our new partnership with The Cultivist
- Exclusive access to music and sports events including Major League Baseball’s All-Star Week and iHeartRadio Festival
Let’s take a look at some Pre-sale events:
An example of one of those: dinner with one of the most acclaimed chefs in the world? Alain Ducasse, $400, but what a cool thing to do.
Entertainment currently has some cool VIP tickets if you’re interested in the vegas music festival in September
Overall
I think its pretty cool to be able to access the events ahead of time, and the partnerships with incredible chefs, entertainers creates a conduit to experiences that ordinarily you wouldn’t be able to buy. Capital One continues to impress me, adding more redemption options, lounges, and creative ways to rewards card membership whether you throw points at it, or pay cash. My fave redemption is still transferring miles to partners
