Capital One Transfer Bonus
This is just a quick head’s up to remind you that there are 3 transfer bonus opportunities from Capital One that are ending today. If you know you have travel coming up, and you find award availability, I always advocate for using transfer bonuses to stretch your miles. One word of caution… I wouldn’t transfer speculatively to any partner without knowing exactly the redemption you want to book and seeing availability. This offer ran all of March and allows 1000 Capital One Miles to convert into 1200 points of:
- AeroMexico
- Avianca
- Wyndham
My focus would be on Avianca Lifemiles
You can fly Business Class to Europe for 63k and just 87k in first class. It really opens the door to fly some of the world’s best airlines at a very competitive price. For instance, Swiss business class offers some seats that look like thrones – hint how to book – that could be accessed for 51k Capital One miles. Pretty stinking awesome if you ask me.
Capital One has an impressive list of partners – you can read our 50 best uses here
- The following partners are now 1:1
- Aeromexico Club Premier
- Air Canada Aeroplan
- Avianca LifeMiles
- Air France Flying Blue
- British Airways Executive Club
- Cathay Pacific Asia Miles
- Choice Privileges
- Etihad Guest
- Emirates
- Finnair Plus
- Qantas Frequent Flyer
- Singapore Airlines
- TAP Air Portugal Miles&Go
- Turkish Airlines Miles and Smiles
- Virgin Red
- Wyndham Rewards
- Accor transfer 2:1
- EVA transfers 2:1.5
Overall
Capital One has been gaining a lot of ground in the flexible currency space since they adopted transferrable partners a few years ago. They’ve made most of the 1:1 and if you can take advantage of transfer bonuses, you’ll stretch your miles even further than you ever imagined.
