Check to see if you’re targeted for 5x Air on Amex Biz Plat
Last year Chase released their Sapphire Preferred and everyone ran around their house like they’d won the lottery. Amex needed to respond. One of Amex’s responses was to introduce 5x earning on flights with the Amex Platinum – personal version. They also gave Amex Biz Plat customers 50% of their points back which equated to $0.02 redemption for flights booked through Amex travel ( on all premium cabin bookings or all flights with your airline of choice), BUT didn’t include the 5x airfare bonus. They’ve changed that and targeted some Amex Biz Plat cardholders for 5x airfare bonuses. They have a site setup where you can check to see if you’re targeted for 5x air on Amex Biz Plat.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
