Travel with Grant spotted the devaluation when booking Preferred Hotels online. The points and miles world was quite excited when Choice updated their IT To make it possible to book Preferred Hotels online ( this was only possible by phoning in to a rep before ). Sadly, Choice didn’t choose to respect their loyalists by announcing this in advance and did it without warning.

Recap
Devaluations are a big reason as to why you should use your points sooner than later…It’s annoying when things like this happen without warning, notice, and leave holders of the points with less value.
