The Citi Thank You Premier is the most under-rated, least publicized, rock star of a credit card on the market. It’s one I carry, and if you’re looking for an all around point machine…it’s hard to beat. For $95 a year you’ll earn 3x on travel, dining, grocery stores, and gas. Name me a card that earns those kind of returns with an annual fee of just $95? To make the card a little sweeter, every now and then, they send out targeted emails with 5x bonus categories. Here’s a look at the one I just received that runs until 5/31/2022 which can earn me an extra 2500 points.
The only downside to the Citi Thank You Premier are the transfer partners.
I’d say the Citi Thank You program falls behind Amex, Bilt, Chase, and Capital One these days. I personally find a lot of value in it, but for those who aren’t as point savvy when it comes to non US partners it could be a bit tricky.
