Sometimes it takes a near death experience to make a lifelong commitment
An AirAsia flight headed from Perth to Bali lost cabin pressure at 34k feet and dove to 10k where cabin pressure isn’t needed. Passengers report a chaotic atmosphere with oxygen masks dropping, and despite all of the mayhem, two passengers got engaged! The man, Chris Jeanes, had intended to pop the question to his girflriend, Casey Kinchella, once they got to Bali, but as the plane plummeted some 5 miles through the air, he popped the question through this oxygen mask. She said, “YES!” WHAT A STORY! Ultimately the plane leveled out at 10k feet, banked, and headed back to Perth. Despite being rattle, it seems all passengers were left safe and with quite a story.
