Emirates has changed a lot with their program lately. First we saw first class redemptions get limited to elite members only ( or you can upgrade from business class with points ), then Emirates paused transfers from partners, and now Amex will follow Citi with 5:4 transfer ratio. Starting 9/16/25 you’ll no longer get 1:1 with Amex.
For the time being, Chase, Cap1, and Bilt retain 1:1 transfers.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
