If you’re flying from Jakarta or Kuala Lumpur to Singapore you may be subject to Singapore Airlines new digital health passport app “travel pass,” which if you remember is a pilot program of the IATA. SQ is the first airline in the world to implement a travel pass that requires you present a negative Covid test from a designated testing facility or proof that you have been vaccinated. Passengers will present their digital ID in the form of a QR code, or a paper certificate proving their testing status. Currently, travel pass, is being tested out, and if successful will roll out on more flights within the Singapore Airlines flight network.
You can read more about the Travel Pass program on the IATA website
What do you think about having centralized system documenting your test and vaccination results?
