Famed Hôtel de Crillon reopens: Rooms $1100+
WOW! The Hôtel de Crillon closed in 2013 for major renovations, and it was announced uber luxury hotel chain Rosewood would take over its management. If you aren’t familiar, the Hôtel de Crillon is one of the most exclusive hotels to stay, not only in Paris, but the whole of Europe. It originally opened in 1909 in a building dating back to 1758 that was commissioned as part of two identical palaces on the Place de Concorde for King Louis XV. Well today, July 5th, the Hôtel de Crillon reopens.
Re-opening night is sold out, but I did a random search for mid July and starting starts were 1100 Eur.
I checked Virtuoso rates and they mimic those from the hotel, but you’d get some extra benefits.
This is FAR out of my price range, but I always like to look at the Uber famous, iconic, and expensive hotels and dream about staying there after I win MegaMillions.
However…just to see the hotel I could be convinced to splurge on Afternoon Tea at JARDIN D’HIVER
