Ends March 31st! Get up to 60k bonus miles
Airlines have been more and more aggressive with their mileage sales. AA is selling theirs for roughly 1.8 cents, Alaska is selling for 2.1 cent and now United is selling for 2.25 cents. Why? They make an insane amount of money doing it. We’re talking 8 figures a year. Their hope is that you’ll burn your miles redeeming for silly things like non-saver level domestic economy seats. We know better – we aim to lie flat and clink champagne glasses with our feet up and movies started while the plane is still boarding 🙂
I’d never advocate buying miles speculatively because you never know what airlines may/may not do with devaluation. With that said…if you have a redemption in mind and you’re short…this is an attractive level to pick up some miles.
Until March 31st, buy United miles with a 66% bonus.
Bonus miles are tiered…the best requires buying the most:
150k miles will set you back $3386 or $0.0225 per point.
Some of the best redemptions are on their partners flying to Europe and Asia.
SAS at 70k and Swiss ( in the feature image ) are both great redemptions
EVA at 80k to Asia. A First Class product at business class rates.
Or you can redeem 110k United Miles and avoid all taxes and fees that Lufthansa usually levies and fly First Class from North America to Europe. A truly special experience
