IHG Point Breaks July-Oct 2016: 5k/night
If you aren’t familiar with IHG Point Breaks then you defos need to check this out. IHG reduces the number of points required on a list of their hotels, worldwide, to just 5000 per night. This is an incredible deal. I had made plans last year to go to Egypt while the Intercontinental was on a Point Break, but ultimately decided to cancel plans after the downed EgyptAir flight. However, there are some interesting options to look at on the list. I tend to look at higher end properties that are on firesale rather than Holiday Inn, Candlewood Suite, etc that I would possibly pay a cash rate under $100/night anyways. I WANT BIG DEALS! MORE LUX, LESS BUX. Ok I’ll stop yelling.

I recently stayed at the Crowne Plaza Mexico City and it was wonderful and inexpensive: rates were under $125/night.
