Review: DNata Lounge Singapore Changi Terminal 1

We had a delay…KLM set us back roughly 3 hours. We were fortunate that the Crowne Plaza had given us 4pm late check out. NOTHING was going to deter us from having the best time jaunting around the world. And what a little gift the DNata lounge was for killing a few hours before heading to our gate. Check it out…it’s worth a stop if you’re going through Singapore Changi terminal 1.

The Deets:

  • When : April 2017
  • Where: Singapore Changi Terminal 1
    • It’s just past John Hardy’s boutique past immigration on the 2nd floor
  • Entry:
    • We were flying KLM Business Class
    •  Lounge Club, Lounge Key, Priority Pass, Diners Club, DragonPass.

The are two sides to the lounge.

To the right:

a room with couches and chairs

To the left…All the food.

I couldn’t stop eating this…

The bathrooms are outside.

That’s the only thing that was kind of weird to me…this lounge was very well done. Better than 90% of all domestic lounges I’ve visited in the states. In fact, the food was better than almost all of them. But if you needed the facilities you were schlepping it out into the terminal. It is what it is, but seems weird given the quality of the lounge.

Overall:

This was a very nice way to grab a snack, spend a couple hours, work on the blog for a bit, and turn a delay into an enjoyable time. Plus my parents got to have some samosas ( which they’ve had long ago), and they absolutely loved them. I had them try Sweet Chili sauce, and while it was too spicy for my mom…Dad absolutely loved it!
