I know that Google Flights gets a lot of attention in the blogger world, but I have been perusing Skyscanner more and more ( it provides quite a few of the smaller OTAs that Google Flights doesn’t publish rates for usually ). Aside from looking at flight deals, I have found it to be a great resource for a concentrated Covid-19 resource. The feature that I think is fantastic is their Covid-19 Travel info map. It’s extremely clean, color coded, and can be used as a great resource if you’re contemplating travel in the future.
Here’s a look at the Skyscanner Covid-19 Info Map – From Green to Red ( light to heavy restrictions )
Country specific information is easy to follow and clear
Here’s a look at South Africa’s information. I like that it provides an overview and then as you scroll down you can get detailed information as to what is required.
Double Check the info
I’m sure that Skyscanner is continually updating information, but if you’re planning a trip, this makes your initial search super easy. If you’re at the booking stage, I would double check with the embassy of your home country and confirm the restrictions published on Skyscanner.
