The absolute best way to redeem Bilt points is very their transfer partner network for lie flat seats and 5 star hotels. But, if you’re looking for a new way to use those points accumulated on rent and neighborhood rewards, you got one: Lyft. They’re worth roughly $0.007 per point redeemed. ( I am a Bilt advisor and investor )
You can earn Bilt points on any ride you take with Lyft just by linking your account.
- 2x when you link your Bilt and Lyft accounts
- this can then be paid with any credit card. No brainer IMO.
- 3x when you use your Bilt card to pay
Personally, I’ll keep my account linked to Lyft to earn extra Bilt points, but I won’t be using my valuable Bilt points on Lyft redemptions. Remember you get 1.25cent in the Bilt travel portal, and they’re worth even more when used on partners. Personally, I’d argue Bilt points are easily worth 2 cents, and the most valuable currency out there. Much better than the 7/10 cents you’d get via Lyft, but more options make the currency more dynamic and usable for more people.
