Jaw. Dropped.
ANA just micdropped the aviation world. Not only did they release a completely unexpected redesign of their 777-300ER first and business class cabins, but they start flying in less than a month. Yes. Less than a month. They’ve been a huge, well kept secret, as ANA revealed they’ve been in development for nearly 5 years. We didn’t even know we were waiting, but the wait is nearly over.
What you see below will be put into operation starting August 2nd from Haneda to London ( NH211/N212 ) – even numbered dates in August, odd numbered dates in September. While “The Suite” looks amazing, I’m most impressed with their new business class, “The Room.” The Room has doors, faces front and back, has massive width ( think SQ looking size ), and 4k tv. It alongside BA’s new Club Suite are the most exciting new business class products in the marketplace. I’m geeking out hard.
Here’s what ANA has to say about the products:
-
•The new cabin products “THE Suite” and “THE Room” inspired by Japanese heritage and Western design principles will be featured in First Class and Business Class for the first time on the Tokyo – London route.
-
•The new products were born out of five years of design development and collaboration between famed Japanese architect Kengo Kuma and leading British designers Acumen.
-
•New cabin designs include the world’s largest 4K resolution monitor in First Class and an innovative new Business Class seat with private door and multifunctional lounging and dining capabilities.

Hopefully these will be put into transpacific service sooner than later. Would absolutely love to redeem some Virgin Atlantic points for either of these impressive new cabins. WOW. WOW.WOW
