I received an email with a new offer! Alaska Airlines Mileage Plan has put their miles on sale again. This happens every few months, and this time it’s a pretty good offer. Not quite as good as the 50% bonus on miles that I wrote about earlier this year, but still a very solid offer. You can get a 40% bonus on purchased Alaska Miles which equates to roughly $0.021 per point.

And you can see the pricing: $1773.75 buys 84k points. This includes taxes and works out to be roughly $0.021 per point
Some of the best redemption options include flying Cathay Pacific and sooooooon Japan Airlines. We don’t know the chart for JAL yet, but hopefully it will be released in a timely fashion.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
