HAAAAAAAVE you seen Delta’s new business class?! HOLY FLIP!

Delta issued a press release today featuring their brand new business class. ANDDDDD holy smipping flokes, I mean HOLY FLIPPING SMOKES – I’m stuttering I’m so impressed. I thought that the new United business class, Polaris,  looked pimptastic, but Delta’s new business class has taken it to another level entirely. It’s all suites. With doors. Yes doors!!!!!! In business class. Let’s take a look at Delta’s new business class that they’re rolling out on their A350.

  • Full-height DOOOOOOR at every suite.
  • Sliding privacy dividers between center suites
  • In-suite, customizable ambient lighting
  • Dedicated stowage compartments for shoes, headphones, and laptops
  • Contemporary design featuring premium trim and finishes
  • Memory foam-enhanced comfort cushion
  • 18 inch High Res IFE – largest among U.S. carriers
  • A universal power outlet and high powered USB port

UHHHHHHHH-Mazing look from these pics

Miles and I are drooling. I’m so glad that I’m stocking up on Delta points. I’d actually been stockpiling them because of their partners, but with this bad boy debuting next fall…I may need to strategize to redeem on Delta. These pics make this product look SICK.

Some thoughts:

Delta also announced that they will utilize the A350 on their US-Asia routes next fall. I’d say that this new product is an American killer. So many people are peeved at American for gutting their loyalty program and many, including myself, feel as though they’ve jumped the gun. American’s routes aren’t as consistent or as broad Delta’s, and now they will have an inferior product. American had a competitive edge because of their loyalty program, but now that they basically copied Delta’s earning chart, why would I choose to fly with American when Delta offers better routes, timeliness, and now a superior product. Delta said that once the A350 is up and running they will retrofit their 777’s with this new suite product. I’d love to see this bad boy in person, but it looks KILLER, and it just created a new paradigm for business class.
