The Updated fees were supposed to take effect on March 1st.
The new fees will take place on May 1st due to Technical integration issues that Singapore is reporting. This gives people with award bookings a couple of months leniency on cancellations, changes, and no show fees on both Singapore Airlines redemptions and partner bookings made with Krisflyer miles. Here’s a look at the announcement, as well as the old and new charts.

The chart is still very competitive relative to other change/cancellation, and I’d say the biggest area to focus on is partner change fees increasing to $50 from $20.
