Update: After much speculation…you can see in the post below… Amex has officially announced that they will be ending the partnership with Hawaiian on June 30th. If you are thinking of moving Amex to Alaska… you best get a move on
4/18/25
Hawaiian Airlines has just published an update to their partner redemptions that is leading us to speculate that the Amex to Hawaiian partnership will likely end June 30th. As you can see below, H/T DOC, Hawaiian has notified members that the last day to book partner flights will be 6/30/25 with travel needing to happen by 2/28/26. The logic goes, if you can’t redeem Hawaiian miles on partners due to that partnership ending, then likely their partnership with Amex would end as well.
This means… I would transfer any Amex to Hawaiian…ultimately to Alaska sooner than later. If you’re unsure how to do that, read this article here.
