Bilt Rewards now has 18 transfer partners with the addition of TAP MIles & Go ( 1:1 ) and Accor ( which will transfer 3:2 ). Bilt currently stands as the only transferrable currency that is partnered with all 4 major hotel chains ( Marriott, Hyatt, Hilton, and IHG + Accor now  ) alongside United and Alaska. The program is phenom in my opinion, but then again I am an investor and advisor.

What would I transfer Bilt Points to Accor for ( 3 to 2 ) ?

If you’re unfamiliar with Accor they have some very prestigious brands like Raffles, Fairmont, and Sofitel. They have a fixed redemption price of 1000 points = 20 Euros, or you’re getting 2 Euro cents per dollar. In this case you could redeem 1500 Bilt Points for 1000 Accor or 20 Euros worth of credit at any of their properties. Currently, the Euro is about 1.1c so 1500 Bilt Points is getting about $22 of value, or roughly 1.5 cents per point ( give or take ). This is higher than the 1.25c you’d get if you were to book one of these properties in the Bilt app.

What would I transfer Bilt Points to TAP for ( 1:1 ) ?

While you can use them on Star Alliance ( you can fly within Europe in econ for as little as 7500 miles ) and TAP itself obviously, I’d say the outsized value comes via its partnership with Emirates

  • Australia/New Zealand to the USA in Business Class for 130k Miles and hardly any fees ( $25 to $100 )
  • Asia and Dubai for 50k in business class
  • US to Europe ( Athens and Milan ) for 100k
    • This would really only be advantageous to avoid the fees
  • US to Dubai for 115k with minimal fees

TAP also seems to have more award space that you’d find via Aeroplan.
