Yesterday we reported that Alaska Airlines had FINALLY released their award chart for Japan Airlines. We were verrrrrrry pleased with the pricing and thought it provided great value and options for travel to Asia. Well, we’re following up on that news by showing you how you can book Japan Airlines award tickets on Alaskaair.com. It’s super simple, you’ll love it.

I cheated and searched the Japan Airlines site for availability and knew there would be a seat on this date.
Step 2 : See the results
As you can see, the site gives multiple options including an uber expensive Emirates option through Dubai. We want the first one on the list – Japan Airlines First Class. A little aside – Alaska is known to have incredible point sales throughout the year that often put miles at roughly $0.02 each. That means that you could outright buy a Japan Airlines first class ticket for $1452 one way. Helluva deal.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
