You can always buy IHG points for $0.007 per point when making a booking if you’re short in your stash. So is it worth it to buy them for a bit cheaper? Sure, if you know you’re going to be using the points for a redemption why not get them a bit cheaper? Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
