Fancy Famous Fantasy Friday: Four Seasons Ubud, Bali

I’m starting a new weekly series: Fancy Famous Fantasy Friday. Each Friday Miles and I will explore hotels, locations, planes, cabins, etc that are fancy, famous, and a fantasy…at least at this point. The objective isn’t to set a timeline on these places or experiences, but to implant them into the psyche. We believe in a little thing called Imaginaction: Imagine + Action.  You can not realize your dreams without having them in the first place. This week’s Fancy Famous Fantasy Friday is dedicated to the Four Seasons Ubud, Bali

Who doesn’t dream of going to Bali?

It’s been on my bucket list long before Eat, Pray, Love thrust it into pop culture. There are many places to stay in Bali, and many people opt for the beaches of Nusa Dua and Seminyak, but Ubud is the cultural center. One day, I look forward to visiting Bali and the Four Seasons Ubud is at the top of my list. Miles wants to see healers, perfect his downward dog, and wave incense through the air while chanting. I’ll be there right beside him.

Read my can you stack Citi Prestige article… it will show you how you can combine Citi Prestige’s impressive 4th night free benefit with hotel offers: like The Four Seasons Ubud’s 3rd night free.

What does this offer mean for you? Buy one, get one!

You can get the 3rd night with the Four Seasons deal. Then if you book through Citi Prestige’s concierge you can get the 4th night free. It’s worth noting that starting July 23, 2017 it will no longer be the exact 4th night, but rather the average of all nights. Keep in mind that taxes are not included…

An awfully pretty resort, I must say. Ubud certainly has a few of them. At least for myself, though, you can stay in a nice hotel in a good location for $50 including breakfast. I suspect that that would be the price of a cheap breakfast at this hotel. Don’t get me wrong, it looks gorgeous, but just way too rich for my blood. One upcoming option is that Starwood is opening a couple of hotels there in the next year or two.

Christian – ya it’s a pretty ridiculous place. Most of this series will be spots that unless an amazing deal comes around, or it’s a super special occasion…totally out of reach. but it’s fun to dream, right?
