8 up, 1 down.
I saw this post pop up on VFTW, along with the image, and then waited a day to see if I would receive an email in regards to it. Nothing. I wasn’t alone, as Ric Garrido pointed out, he never received anything either. An odd way to handle an immediate devaluation… Anyways, there are 8 hotels that are moving up a category. Aside from the Highlands Inn, near Carmel, California, every single one is a Hyatt Place. The odd thing about the Highlands Inn moving up to category 7 is that I’ve received multiple offers to stay at the Highlands at an uber discounted rate and earn 10k points – as long as I did a timeshare tour. The sole property moving down a category is the Confidante hotel in Miami. While the Confidante is a dope spot, it’s far from the action of South Beach, and probably why it dropped two categories.
