There is a lot of conversation circulating the points and miles blog space right now about Iberia and their 90k promo. If you’ve missed reading about it, check out GSTP, OMAAT, or YHBU. I won’t go into details about the promo as you’ve probably already read plenty about it, if not click one of those links, and instead will look at how we plan to use the points if we end up getting them in roughly 10 days.

My top choice for redemption would be transatlantic Business Class on Iberia’s own metal for 34k Miles.
I haven’t reviewed the product, and what a great opportunity to do so.
Generally I find searching Iberia space on AA.com easier than on Iberia’s own interface, but totally up to you. Regardless, 34k miles and low fees is an outstanding deal to fly across the pond. You’ll find these rates for travel to/from Madrid and the East Coast, Chicago.

You could also fly from JFK to LAX roundtrip for 64k Avios on AA’s lie flat business class. Plus Flagship lounge access

Remember, if you’d like to do this with two people, Chase Ultimate Rewards is a transfer partner of Iberia, and you could shore up your account. This isn’t necessarily the most incredible redemption in terms of value, but seeing as tho many people would have picked up these points on the cheap – it could provide for a very fun trip for two people in a great product.
I also go back and forth between LA and Indianapolis a lot to visit family. This would give me “4” roundtrips.

Historically 80k is a very, very good offer and hit in both 2022 and 2023. In 2021, we saw the offer hit an all time high of 100k. Who knows if that will ever come back.
