Just a quick head’s up to anyone who newly created an account and has gone through the steps to verifying your identity. I was working closely with a couple people through the process and both of them have received their 90k Avios. Coincidentally, both had to send copies of their passport twice and phone in to prompt Iberia to post the Avios after receiving notification their information had been received. So if you’re still waiting…may be worth pushing a little, and believe me it’s been a frustrating process for a lot of people, but the points are beginning to show!

If you’re looking for ways to spend your Avios…we’ve put up a couple of posts recently that may assist you in figuring out what best suits your travel interests:

Who knows if those 90k Iberia Avios will credit, but here’s how I’m looking to spend mine.

American’s First Class transcon is quite attractive for 96k Avios – you even get to experience AA’s First Class dining experience on either end.

    I got mine today!

  • Stuart Waldman July 17, 2018

My wife, who has a brand new account, got her 90,000 today. Of course, my account has been open 4 years, has been used before and has not received my 90,000 yet.
