MVP Gold 75k Status Match includes Guest Upgrades and Lounge Passes

Good golly miss Molly!!!! Alaska Airlines status match is truly the gift that keep on giving. I honestly can’t wait to start flying with Alaska and Virgin America to give them some love back. I had really matched to Alaska MVP Gold 75k because of the 125% bonus and how valuable the points are. Today I was perusing my benefits online and my newly minted MVP Gold 75k profile when I noticed I had been given 4 Guest upgrades and 4 lounge passes! I have to admit, I didn’t think that would be a part of the match, much like the 50k bonus isn’t. Now I know, MVP Gold 75k Status Match includes Guest Upgrades and Lounge Passes! BYAWWWW

Here are my 4 Guest Upgrades:

This was my question…

MVP Gold 75k Status Match includes Guest Upgrades and Lounge Passes

What’s better than lighting your own trip up with an upgrade? Throwing that bump to someone else…Love it! Thanks Alaska Air.

And my 4 Alaska Lounge passes

I seriously can’t believe how great this match is.

I just keeping finding more perks that I love, they made the earn rates even better, but I will admit this is a match from AA’s Executive Platinum. I would assume that every match to MVPG75 gives these same benefits, but I can only speak for myself. What have other people’s experiences been with their matches?

Does the status match require an n-day mileage challenge? Thanks Miles 🙂

As a fellow MVP75k’er, I struggle to use my Guest Upgrades -Alaska restricts the flights you’re able to use them on. In theory it sounds like such a great gift, but in practice over the years I’ve noticed the flights you really want to use it (say, transconn SEA to Nashville, Raleigh, Orlando, or EWR) they aren’t available.

Eric – good info! would love to hook some friends and fam up…i’ll just have to hope for the best

    • David December 22, 2016

Hey Eric, would you possibly be willing to part with 1 of your upgrades?

  • Ghostrider5408 December 21, 2016

so how long do you intend to fly AS, in other words are you going to qualify the old fashion way in 2017? There are many of us loyal AS travelers out there see this every year. Good news though is AS is shrinking First Class in 2017, that will separate the flock a bit.

Ghost – my goal is to hit it 90k with as and partners…fingers crossed
